Maybe of some interest, a friend
sent me these. Soneva Fushi is located about 400 miles north of
Addu Atoll and is part of the Baa Atoll. Some photos our friend Ranil just today received by email from his cousin Mohan in Soneva Fushi, Maldives. You can see how rapidly the sea rose by six feet (note height of the pier upright support being engulfed) after which Mohan must have fled to an upstairs building. |
